Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 4 Wheel, Stroller, Black Reviews
11 of 11 people found the following review helpful Benefits and drawbacks, February 1, 2010 By This review is from: Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 4 Wheel, Stroller (Baby Product) I have mixed feelings on this stroller. There are good points about it, but there are definitely things the manufacturer could improve.
***Things I like about it***
- It rolls very nicely over the uneven sidewalks, high curb-cuts, small branches, etc. that are not uncommon in our semi-urban area, without jostling the baby much.
- My son is comfortable in the seat, and often falls asleep in it. I started him in it when he was about 3 1/2 months (he was hitting the weight limit for the Dreami bassinet attachment), and in the most reclined position, he liked it from the start.
- It comes with the bug and rain screen, and an extension seat for when the child gets bigger, extending the life of the seat.
***Things I do not like about it, and which the manufacturer should fix***
- If you get stuck going over something big like a very large doorway step to a store in an urban area, or a set of stairs, you run the very real risk of... Read more
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Very good stroller!, February 2, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 4 Wheel, Stroller, Apple (Baby Product) I love this stroller! My in-laws bought it for us and it is very nice. Our baby isn't born yet, but I use it with my 2-year-old nephew (big boy at almost 40 pounds) and it is still easy to push and turn. I have no problem getting it in and out of the trunk of my Hyundai Sonata and I'm 8 months pregnant. My nephew would scream and fight getting into any stroller except this one. He actually likes riding in it and grabs onto the bumper bar. We got it with the Dreami Cot, so I can use it as a pram. We live in an area that is close to everything, so most of our stroller use will be leaving directly from the house and we have room to leave it open with the cot on it. I am a former nanny and have used tons of strollers and this is the best I've used. I have no problem navigating through a store with it because it turns on a dime. A lot of strollers will become difficult to push and turn once the child in it reaches a certain weight, but this is still easy with a 40-pound kid in it! I highly... Read more
Disappointed. Don't let the Quinny's cute-ness fool you!, September 4, 2011 This review is from: Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 4 Wheel, Stroller, Black (Baby Product) My husband and I purchased this stroller when I was pregnant last year. At the time, I was so excited about it--it's cute, trendy, and seemed like a great-quality product. But sadly, now that I've been using it for 7 months with my son, I have a different opinion.
Things I dislike about this stroller:
- Sometimes the brake does not hold and I have to re-brake it. Not a good thing when you're concerned for the safety of your little baby!
- Because this stroller is so expensive, some people might think "This must be a high-quality product!" I no longer believe that it is. If you wiggle the handle bar, the whole seat giggles. Compared to other strollers I've checked out, Quinny definitely could have made this to be more sturdy, especially at this price point.
- The cup holder (that you have to purchase extra) is very basic and nothing special, which I would be fine with if they didn't charge me $20 for it. It clips on easily, but sticks out so far that the cup... Read more
